 Hyalase Filler Dissolving

Dermal fillers can be dissolved using an enzyme medication called Hyaluronidase, or Hyalase, commonly known as a "filler dissolver." This enzyme breaks down the dermal filler almost instantly or over 2-3 days, effectively softening areas with unwanted filler or complications. It is primarily used in cosmetic procedures to correct issues such as lip lumps or asymmetrical, overfilled lips. Additionally, it corrects overfilled or lumpy tear trough fillers and asymmetrical or irregular cheek fillers.

Hyaluronidase works by breaking down the cross-linked hyaluronic acid molecules in the filler, allowing them to be absorbed and excreted. At NWIA, we offer this service to clients who wish to address concerns like lumps, bumps, and irregularities caused by dermal fillers.

Typical concerns that Hyalase can address include:

  • Lumpy, bumpy, or irregular filler

  • Lip filler lumps

  • Tear trough bumps and irregularities

  • Asymmetrical or migrated cheek fillers

  • Overfilled chin and jawline
